Refresh OKC May Meeting
Mark your calendars. The May Refresh OKC meeting is scheduled. We will be meeting on May 15, 2007 at 6:30 PM. We'll have food and drinks at 6:30 PM and the presentation will start promptly at 7:00. The meeting will be at the Ronald J. Norick Downtown Library and James Edward Gray II will present Riding the Rails.
Coffee Night Tuesday
We are not having a formal Refresh meeting this month, but we are gathering for a cup of coffee and web related conversation.
Speaking at Refresh OKC
I had the opportunity to speak at the November Refresh OKC meeting. My presentation was titled “Tags and Geocoding” and it lasted about 50 minutes. I covered how to implement a tagging system on your website as well as the basics of geo tagging and how to use the Google API to view your geo tag location.
Heart and Sole
On Monday, I was on site at Norman Regional Hospital for the Heart and Sole Celebration. The 6-week walking program came to a close on October 29, 2006 and on Monday the hospital recognized individual achievements and gave out some great prizes.
