Computer Spyware Protection Act

House Bill 2083, by State Representative Guy Liebmann (R-Oklahoma City) will allow the state attorney general, Internet service providers or software companies to bring civil action against organizations and individuals that deceitfully install spyware or malware onto computers.

Sounds good, right? There's a catch. The bill would give software companies and your ISP access to all of the data stored on your computer or network.
